Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and eggs.
- Add the cooked ground beef mixture to the bowl and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
