Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the heavy cream.
- Spread the beef mixture in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
- Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
