Ingredients:
- 1 pound of fresh or frozen edamame in pods
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
- Optional: lemon wedges, chili flakes, or other seasonings to taste
Instructions:
- If using frozen edamame, thaw it in the fridge overnight or in a bowl of warm water for about 15 minutes. Fresh edamame can be used as is.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the edamame and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix the edamame, olive oil, and sea salt until well coated.
- Spread the edamame in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast the edamame in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pods are slightly charred and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- If desired, you can sprinkle some lemon juice, chili flakes, or other seasonings over the roasted edamame before serving.
